Customizing This Theme

How To Make Each Page Your Own

Finally it’s to start customizing each page – swapping out text, images, and other modifications.

Plus, you’ll learn how to use the Block Library – a library of reusable blocks/sections that can be used throughout the site, so you never have to create new website sections completely from scratch.

Build A New Page Using The Block Library

Here’s how to build an entirely new website page with the help of the block library – in less than 20 minutes!

Edit the Insurance Logos Section

If you accept insurance in your practice and want to edit the insurance logos section to reflect who you’re in-network with, here is how.

Edit Your Contact Form

The contact form is similar to the newsletter form, but you’ll want to customize it further based on the type of information you want to gather from website visitors and potential clients.

If you’re planning to use the resources page to link up some free handouts or other downloads, here’s how to configure it.

Change Map Location on Contact Page

This is super simple to set up. Read more about the Google Maps Block via Kadence WP documentation

Using the Accordion block

In this theme the Accordion block is used as an FAQ section on multiple pages. It is also used on the About page in the Professional Bio section.

You can click on each item in the accordion to expand it, then edit the title text and contents. To add a new item to the accordion, click on the whole accordion widget, click the 3 vertical dots button (Options) in the floating menu bar, then click Duplicate.

Social Links Page

The social links page is your own personal “Linktree” you can add to your bio in Instagram or elsewhere. Simply replace the buttons with any specific pages you want to link from your site, or external links such as a patient portal, Fullscript account, Amazon Associates store, etc. Make sure to replace the social media links on this page with your own social links.

In the next lesson, I’ll share the core WordPress plugins I recommend you install on your site.
